In the forests behind Sancerre, near Subligny,  you'll find the Centre Equestre du Moulin de Tirepeine, a former mill built in the 15th century and now classified as a national monument.

It's a paradise of meadows, water and forests, where the horses are cared for to the highest standards.  

It's where I go to relax, either for a private lesson or for accompanied rides.  

Le Moulin de Tirepeine is a discreet, professional equestrian yard in Subligny, run by a trainer who specialises in private lessons and small‑group coaching.
